GB3XG (X is the Roman numeral 10 and G for GigaHertz) is the microwave television repeater just south of Bristol. It receives on 10.315GHz and transmits on 10.065GHz, both in FM mode and with omni-directional antennas.

The standard testcard. this is radiated whenever the repeater is in beacon mode. When a picture is received at the site, it replaces the testcard.
The view, looking north west from Dundry Hill shows the clear take-off from the repeater location. The skyline is about 30Km away.
